The facades of all the houses in the old part of town have been repaired and painted, all electrical and telephone cables have been routed underground, and the streets have been paved to look cobbled. this Hacienda gem. The service in the hotel and restaurant were prompt, friendly, and personable to a degree unobtainable in the US. The grounds include tasteful landscaping and colorful stone structures unique to Myan architecture. Most importantly the manager, Jana,
was warm, freindly, and professional. She saw to it that we were comfortable at all times responding to our every need."
"I never expected that the city of Campeche would ever be on my list of "places to visit" until recently....oh... was I wrong. The Hacienda Puerta Campeche is a small botique hotel, very hip but warm and inviting. The hotel itself is built around a courtyard with an amazing pool that is hard to describe. You would never know you were in the middle of a bustling city. I for one will be back and would recomend the Hacienda Puerta Campeche for sure."
